Risk Engineer (m/f) for Construction

Job description:
  • Assessing risk quality and quantum for property damage of Erection and Construction risks in order to assist Underwriters in risk selection
  • Carrying out risk engineering surveys during the construction period, especially for tunnel, underground railway and bridge projects worldwide
  • Creating risk engineering reports and supporting the Insured with risk improvement recommendations
  • Execution of detailed risk analyses including maximum loss assessments
  • Supporting the international risk consulting network
  • Initiating and reviewing the implementation of loss prevention measures
  • Executing internal and external training courses
  • Improving tools for risk assessments
Profile:
  • Degree in Engineering (MSc.), Civil or Structural Engineering preferred, essential
  • At least 10 years of professional experience within industry working in consultancy or contracting fields as a (senior) project engineer
  • Membership of Professional Bodies such as ICE/ ASCE or national equivalent preferred
  • An analytical, organisational and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide
  • Highly customer-oriented
  • At least proficiency in English and Spanish, additional languages would be a plus
