Regional Manager (m/f/d)


  • Strategic management of the portfolio companies, also as a member of the supervisory board
  • Development, expansion and adjustment of the portfolio of subsidiaries
  • Comprehensive performance management through ongoing monitoring of subsidiaries in cooperation with the Controlling, Risk Management and Actuarial functions
  • Development and implementation of strategic targets
  • Identification and analysis of new markets and companies
  • Participation in and execution of due diligence processes
  • Participation in projects of the investment companies as well as central projects
  • Exercise overarching regional management task, e.g. preparation of the annual Strategic Dialogues


  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or comparable qualifications with an international focus
  • Several years of professional experience in the international insurance and/or reinsurance sector
  • Several years of leadership experience, leading teams as well as experience in international project management, especially in Latin America
  • Knowledge of company valuation methods
  • Strategic development of target markets, including market entry strategies for foreign markets
  • Strong analyticand conceptual abilities
  • Diplomatic skills and empathy on the one hand, conflict resolution ability, strong implementation skills and assertiveness on the other
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach
  • Resilient and willing to travel as well as a confident manner in an international environment
  • Team spirit and enthusiasm for intercultural work
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish
