Project Manager/ Product Manager (m/w/d) “Product Driven Enterprise Architecture”

Job description:

Shaping an overarching solution based on a comprehensive product model to encompass services for UW, contract and claims in a commercial insurance context (at first as a minimum viable product aka MVP, later as part of a holistic service architecture within an agile development organisation)
Leading of an agile project organisation to test and build MVP
Working in a scaled agile context according to SAFe with external services providers
Development of a vision and roadmap for the development of the MVP in the organisational context
Steering of requirements and management of stakeholders within the organisation
Responsibility for Product Backlog and prioritization of user stories, to build a costumer centric solution
Person of contact for technical questions from Product Owners, Scrum Dev Teams and internal and external developers
Close collaboration with IT Architecture, product configuration and in-focus business to ensure high quality of outcome
Managing and steering of internal and external employees within project context

Profile:

University degree, preferably in economics, law or IT or comparable work experience
Experience as product manager (preferably in a SAFe context)
Professional experience and deeper understanding of at least one line of business in commercial insurance
Credible expertise in stakeholder management with experienced commercial lines experts
High Motivation to take over responsibility for product development in an agile organisation and to drive development of outcomes towards high user satisfaction and usability
High degree of knowledge in either UW or Claims organisation in a commercial insurance context.
Analytical skill-set, help to develop a solution, judgment in taking the best one
Creative problem-solving skill, conceptual working skill
Curiosity to understand the value chains and business models of the various lines of business
Open-mindedness in working with different lines of businesses, branches, carriers and cultures
Tenacity and persistence to bring projects over the line and stay on focus in discussion with line of business
Strong communication capabilities
Very strong English skills (C1) and German language skills (B2)
